Description

Negative of Karen DeCrow taken during a Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) debate against Phyllis Schlafly in the Lubbock Municipal Auditorium in Lubbock, Texas taken on January 18, 1979. Karen Lipschultz DeCrow was a notable feminist activist and attorney who supported the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and served as president of the National Organization of Women (NOW) from 1974-1977.
