The Texas Tech Social Activism Photograph Collection consists of historic photographs compiled digitally from various photograph collections housed within the University Archives of Texas Tech University. The images selected were based around the theme of local social activism and visually document student movements to protest and/or advocate for social justice, environmental issues and political change. In many instances, staff, faculty and the local community have participated in these movements.

The relation field in each record identifies the original (physical) collection from which each image has been scanned, as well as the location of the physical item within its original collection.
