Description
Photograph of an aerial view of the central Texas Tech campus looking east in 1963. Notable in this photo are the Student Union Building and the Music Building, prior to the addition that connects the two; Stangel and Murdough Halls are under construction; Clement and Hulen Halls have not yet been built; and the Texas Tech loop that circles the interior campus has not yet been constructed. Much of the land at the lower part of the photograph was part of the Texas Tech Farm.
