    Abstract
    Tony (Anton) Ullrich discusses his university years and the beginning of his interest in the banjo. He also goes into great detail about his time in Nashville working and attempting to make it in the music industry. Following, he discusses his return to Houston, Tex., and further attempts at music. In part two, Ullrich goes into detail about his banjo designs. In part three, Ullrich talks about his Bluegrass promotion with the Kerrville Folk Festival and on the radio. Following, he goes into depth about his ten week trip with John Avery Lomax.
