Description
Photograph of children playing outside the Nursery School on the campus of Texas Technological College taken in 1942. The building in the background is the Administration Building. A very similar version of this photo appears on page 18 of "Your Questions Answered Regarding College," a 1942-1943 bulletin of the Texas Tech College Division of Home Economics, with the caption "The Nursery School serves as a laboratory where students observe and study the behavior and development of young children. All students enrolled in the Division of Home Economics schedule classes in the Department of Child Development. The picture above shows some children engaging in play while college students enrolled in Child Development classes watch them. The Administration Building of the college is seen in the background."
