40 page football game program for Texas Technological College vs West Texas State University at Jones Stadium in Lubbock, Texas, on October 13, 1956. The price for the program was 25 cents.
West Texas Normal College opened on September 20, 1910, in Canyon, Texas. Its name was changed to West Texas State University in 1963 by then governor, John B. Connally. Following its membership into the Texas A&M University System on September 1, 1990, the university was renamed West Texas A&M University in 1993.
