Description
Negative of Oscar Lowe Slaton, Sr. seated at his desk taken circa 1940s. O.L. Slaton (1867-1946) was a banker who partnered with Walter Posey to create First National Bank and served as president of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce in 1917. The city of Slaton, Texas was named in his honor, although O.L. Slaton himself resided in Lubbock.
