    Abstract
    Zoe Kirkpatrick discusses her life growing up through high school and college and being Miss Lubbock as well as competing for Miss Texas. She also discusses her life living in Post, Tex., and writing a book on wildflowers (Wildflowers of the western plains : a field guide) as well as her experience with Native American traditions. She also discusses her experience on the Texas Tech fencing team as well as her athletic ability.
