Photograph of Pill-Soon Song and student. The accompanying press release states: "LIGHT ENERGY CONVERSION -- Prof. Pill-Soon Song of Texas Tech's Department of Chemistry has a research interest in the biological conversion of light energy into chemical energy. Working with Dr. Song, left, is graduate student Thomas A. Moore who is studying toward a doctoral degree. Insert shows what the chemists see in the oscilloscope, the phosphorescence emitted from a sample of riboflavin confined at a temperature of minus 200 degrees centigrade. (Tech Photo)."
