Description
Nine-page proposal submitted by W. Homer Shanks of the Clyde Chamber of Commerce to the Locating Board for Texas Technological College. The map of Clyde, loose from the proposal, was drawn up by the Jackson Abstract Co. and was part of the proposal packet sent to the Locating Board. The telegram, tucked inside this copy of the proposal, was from the Locating Board advising Shanks that a total of six copies of the proposal was required by the Locating Board of all applicants. The two-page cover letter was submitted by the President of the Clyde Chamber of Commerce to the Locating Board for Texas Technological College.
