The PDF for the 11/15/74 meeting is 98 pages long and covers topics such as: the appointment of Marilyn Phelan to the subcommittee of the Air University Board of Visitors; academic concerns such as a general profile of applicants to the Medical School, personal counseling for incoming freshman to help ease them into college life, and possibility of dividing up the College of Arts and Sciences into the two colleges; recommendation to expand development of Women's Athletics; resolution that the Board will have final authority to oversee the activities of the Department of Athletics and definition of Athletic Council's role as an advisory committee to the Board; and various building projects such as phase II of the University Greenhouses, approval to change the name of the Veterinary Science Building to the Animal Science Building, and expanding the Textile Research Center.
