Negative of a scene from the May 12, 1957, on-campus celebration for Texas Tech's entrance into the Southwest Conference. This image appears on page 42 of the 1957 La Ventana yearbook with the caption "Saddle Tramps raise the Tech banner with those of the other members of the Southwest Conference, as Tech becomes the Conference's newest member."
