Image of men standing near wooden storage tank in 1919. PBPM 79-039.035.04 Inscription (on back): Crew of, cypress wood storage tanks near, and boiler house for, The Colorado-Texas Petroleum Company's W. L. Foster No. 1 Well drilled and completed 1917-1920 near IATAN, a siding and small townsite on the Texas & Pacific Railway Co. ROW, Mitchell County, Texas. Note smoke stack -- boiler was fired by COAL (obtained from coal cars on railroad siding) -- signs of cinders and slag are still visible on the groun near the old site of boiler house.
