Undated image of two men at well site. On the left of the image, a wooden tank is seen. One man, on the far right, stands looking toward the wooden structure. Another man kneels on the ground and appears to be working on something on the ground. PBPM 79-039.035.01 Inscription (on back): HORACE COOK, standing, looking over an old cypress wood storage tank near The Colorado-Texas Petroleum Company's W. L. Foster No. 1 Well drilled and completed 1917-1920 near IATAN, a siding and small townsite on the T&P Ry. Co. ROW, Mitchell County, Texas. Identification made by Mrs. Jesse Bassinger of Colorado City, Texas during 1970. October 4, 1979 Lee Jones, Jr.
