Description
"The Catalyst" is comprised of 12 pages of student written articles, satires and political statements. This issue covered topics such as campus student elections; KSEL; the five day "The Black Experience" learning exchanges; criticism of former Board of Regent member Manuel De Busk; a tuition increase protest; birth control; national American Civil Liberties Union news; a letter from District Attorney Blair Cherry Jr. on herion addicts; a two page Monopoly-type game called "Let's Go to College Game"; music review on Jimi Hendrix; "welfare" for the rich; and dangerous additives for food and drink. The issue is the dated March 3-17, 1971, and sold for 25 cents.
