Description
Photograph, dated November 9, 1924, of a large crowd of people at the Colliton Discovery Well in Cherokee County, Texas. The details in the image are incredibly sharp. The main focus is on eight men who have been identified by name and occupation. Their names are J. G. C. Corcoran, J. A. Colliton, Bill Williams, Arthur Brineard (or Brincard?), Ross Compton, Buron Sessions, Barney Compton, and Lee Sessions.
