Description
"For Your Information" was a newsletter produced by the Office of University News and Publications at Texas Tech University for distribution to faculty and staff. It covered the highlights of what was happening at the university and listed upcoming events. The issues here are comprised of 24 issues that run from June 6, 1973 to May 10, 1974. Topics covered include TTU's upcoming fiftieth anniversary; faculty hiring and promotions; student highlights such as enrollment and awards; the issue of Indiana Avenue and future parking; the establishment of the School of Medicine; the establishment of the Ranch Headquarters and dedications of the Picket and Sotol House; members of the Board of Regents accepting the oath of office for the first time; and various construction and groundbreakings around campus.
