Description
Group portrait of members of the Board of Directors for 1959-1960. The nine men appointed by the Governor of Texas to direct Texas Tech affairs stand with Acting President R.C. Goodwin (in academic regalia). They are, from left, Floyd Wooldridge, Houston; Tom Linebery, Kermit; Jim Lindsey, Midland; Douglas Orme, Big Spring; Wilmer Smith, New Home; J. Evetts Haley, Canyon; Board Chairman C.I. Wall, Amarillo; Harold Hinn, Plainview; and Manuel DeBusk, Dallas.
