Description
"The Catalyst" is comprised of 8 pages of student written articles, editorials, satires and political statements. This issue contained articles on elections, the Vietnam War Moratorium, the Red Cross, narcotics, communal life, criticism of academia at Texas Tech, birth control, and the censure of Dr. Kline Nall. The issue sold for 10 cents.
The Catalyst was an underground and controversial newspaper written by Texas Tech students from 1969-1971. The newspaper contained political and social statements and parodies on events occuring during the time of the paper's existence.
