dc.descriptionAccompanying press release states: Lubbock, March 5--Prof. Marta Velez de Ardiles of the National University of Tucman, Argentina, is at Texas Tech this week to deliver a series of lectures to advanced and graduate students in the Department of Classical and Romance Languages. Her lecture topic is "Contemporary Argentine Literature." Prof. Ardiles is a former student of Department Chairman Dr. Harley D. Oberhelman who taught at the National University as a Fulbright scholar in 1961 and as a member of Tech's Summer Institutes in Tucman in 1962-64. As a specialist in scientific language related to agriculture, Prof. Ardiles will confer with faculty members in Tech's Department of Agronomy and also will study techniques employed in Tech's new language laboratories.en_US
