Description
This is a copy of a photograph, accompanied by a hand-written note which depicts the photograph as being "the last reunion at the Confederate Reunion Grounds [Teague, Texas] in 1913." Men identified in photograph include, in front row (left to right): Mr. Woods (J. E. Wood's father), T. W. Manaham (Mrs. Howard Davis' grandfather), Mr. Hood, J. D. Johnson (Howard Davis' grandfather), Mr. Hogan, Mr. Gus Owens, Rit Colgin; in second row (left to right): Mr. Rawls (Charles' grandfather), Alonzo Partin (Sam Partin's father), Frank Groover (Mrs. John King's grandfather), T. H. Beaver (Mrs. L. H. Beene's grandfather), Bill Sartor (A.G. and R. E. Sartor's grandfather), John Jones (Walter Jone's father), Tom Picket, unknown, Jim David (Alvie Lee Jones' grandfather), Ira McCollum (Geo McCollum's father, yankee). Photograph resided in the Heritage House at the Confederate Reunion Grounds in Mexia, Texas.
