Photograph of Brigadier General Dudley E. Faver, who was scheduled to give an address at the 1968 ROTC commissioning ceremony to 50 cadets. An accompanying press release states "TO ADDRESS ROTC--Approximately 50 cadets who will receive Air Force and Army commissions in ceremonies at 11 a.m. Saturday (June 1) at Texas Tech will hear an address by Brig. Gen. Dudley E. Faver, deputy chief of staff for personnel, Headquarters U.S. Air Force. Gen. Faver formerly was commanding officer of Reese Air Force Base, Lubbock."
